Personal Care Worker – Boonah

Right at Home is seeking a caring, reliable and experienced Personal Care Worker (PCW) to support two clients living in the same household in Boonah.

This is an opportunity for a local PCW looking for regular, meaningful work close to home.

About the opportunity

You will provide person-centred care and support to two clients within the same household, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

There is the potential for up to 24 hours of support per week in total, shared across the two clients to begin with, depending on your availability.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and assistance with daily living
• Domestic assistance and household tasks
• Meal preparation
• Social support and companionship
• Community access and appointments
• Supporting independence and choice
• Following individual care plans
• Providing respectful, professional and reliable care to both clients

About you

We are looking for a PCW who:

• Holds a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
• Has experience providing personal care and support
• Lives in or around Boonah
• Is reliable, compassionate and person-centred
• Is comfortable supporting two clients within the same household
• Can work independently and follow care plans
• Has availability for regular ongoing shifts
• Holds the required First Aid/CPR and employment screening checks
• Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport
