There is no fixed price. Under Support at Home your contribution is assessed from your income and assets by Services Australia, and your funding covers the rest. No honest provider can quote you a single figure before that assessment. Once it is done we can tell you exactly what it means for you.

My Aged Care is the government front door, where you register and are assessed. A home care package, now delivered through Support at Home, is the funding itself and the services it pays for. You go through My Aged Care first, then choose a provider to deliver the care.

Nobody is turned away from government funded home care because of their financial situation. Contributions are assessed on income and assets, and there are hardship provisions for people who genuinely cannot pay. If money is the thing stopping you asking for help, say so, because it is a more common conversation than most families expect.
