I have almost 30 years of experience as a registered nurse and have worked nationally across acute and community care. I worked in palliative care and held numerous management positions in aged care. I have advanced wound management knowledge, chronic disease management, and acute and chronic pain management experience.
I am proficient in negative pressure wound therapy, compression bandaging, urinary catheterisations, implantable central venous access ports, enteral feeding and doppler ultrasound in detecting venous insufficiency. My family and I proudly live in Kalgoorlie, and we saw firsthand the need for quality home care services in the area. We decided to join Right at Home as providers of comprehensive, client-centred, holistic services to our community.
My name is Ketul Panchal, and I am the Office Manager at Right at Home Kalgoorlie, a specialist home care provider. Managing Right at Home Kalgoorlie means that I can adequately support our clients and ensure our team of community care workers and nurses are valued.
At Right at Home Kalgoorlie, we run a range of services from home care to rehabilitation support for our clients recovering from acute illness or surgery to palliative care, transport assistance with medications and meal preparations. Each day brings a different routine so there is not much of a typical morning. We hold weekly meetings where we review the previous week’s actions and plan key actions for the rest of the week.
With experience in the construction industry as a Civil Engineer, wellbeing on site has always been a big focus for myself and those around me. I have joined Right at Home Kalgoorlie Wheatbelt to support the Wheatbelt community with the attention and care it deserves.
My role is to implement support and services within the NDIS that allows participants to maximise the value of their funds to successfully achieve their goals and individual needs. These funds will be extensively discussed with your family to ensure your loved ones have opportunities to connect with the community, strengthen their support network, increase skills, be included in employment options, and live more independently. My ultimate objective is to assist you in optimising your plan with a quality service provider you are happy with and can trust.
As the accounts manager, I oversee internal client account process and systems. I’m incredibly strict with confidentiality and ensure conflicts of interests are mitigated with firm policies and procedures. I’m always open for a small chat in the office or over the phone!
