Our Support at Home Services

Under the government’s Support at Home program, clinical nutrition is strictly defined as Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and is fully government-funded to ensure older Australians can manage complex health needs at home. This clinical support is delivered through two primary interventions: General Dietetic Care, which involves professional assessments and chronic disease management by an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), and Prescribed Nutrition, which provides specialised oral or enteral (tube) feeding products for those whose needs cannot be met by standard food alone.

Unlike basic meal preparation, these services require a professional healthcare referral and are tailored to address conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or age-related malnutrition. Contact your local Right at Home office to learn more about their clinical nutrition services.
