Domestic Assistance, also referred to as Domestic Support, is a core service under the Everyday Living category of the government’s Support at Home program. Right at Home’s domestic support is designed to help older Australians maintain a safe, clean, and functional home environment so they can live independently for longer.

Domestic support services include general cleaning tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising kitchens and bathrooms, alongside laundry and linen care such as washing, ironing, and bed making. Caregivers also provide home upkeep services like taking out the rubbish and light organisation help to reduce fall risks, ensuring the home remains functional and secure for the older Australian.

Our caregivers may provide domestic assistance through Support at Home or private pay arrangements.
