Casual Companion Carer - Mullumbimby Area

We are currently looking for Casual Companion Carers to join our Northern Rivers team. What you’ll be doing in this role: 

You’ll provide domestic assistance for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in the Mullumbimby and surrounding areas.

This role involves travelling between client’s homes with a two (2) hour service using your own car.

Duties and responsibilities may include: 

• Vacuuming/sweeping floors/ mopping
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens and other living spaces according to schedules.
• Change bed linen, make beds, and ensure overall comfort and hygiene
• Assist with Laundry
• Transport Services
• Assist with shopping
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure the well-being of clients
• Light gardening duties

What you will need: 

• Australian Federal Police Clearance 
• Current CPR / First Aid Certificate  
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence 
• Valid Working Rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc) 
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)  
• Smartphone with internet access
• Higher School Certificate or Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support.
