We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Persian-speaking Personal Care Worker to join our growing team on a casual basis, supporting clients in the Coomera region. This role is ideal for someone who can provide culturally sensitive care and communicate confidently with Persian-speaking clients and their families.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and daily living activities
• Provide companionship, social engagement, and emotional support
• Perform light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and household organisation
• Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the broader care team
• Deliver culturally respectful and person-centred care to Persian-speaking clients

About You

You are passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence and quality of life. You bring:

• Fluency in Persian (Farsi) and English
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Reliability, flexibility, and a professional approach to care
• An understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and respect

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, or currently studying Nursing or a Health-related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain, if required)
• Full working rights in Australia
