About the Role

We are seeking experienced Companion Care Workers to support clients across the Sutherland Shire region.

This role focuses primarily on companionship, social support and light domestic assistance.

Schedule Expectations

  • Typical visits range from 2–6 hours
  • Mix of weekday shifts, with some weekend availability preferred
  • Flexible casual opportunities
  • Must be living locally to the Sutherland Shire area

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
  • Assist with light domestic duties
  • Support clients with shopping and appointments
  • Encourage participation in social and community activities
  • Monitor wellbeing and report updates to the care team
  • Help clients maintain independence and confidence at home

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Authorised to work in Australia
  • Living locally to the Sutherland Shire area

Preferred Skills

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in Community Aged Care and/or Disability Support
  • Availability for morning and mid-morning weekday shifts
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
