About the Role

Working as part of our Personal Care Team at Right at Home, as a Personal Care Worker you will assist in the provision of holistic and consumer-directed care in accordance with the

established care plan. Provide for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their own home. 

Key responsibilities include: 

As an In-Home Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. 

  • Assisting with Personal Care
  • Providing Domestic Support 
  • Transporting Client's to appointments and community activities
  • Supporting Client's in their daily living tasks
  • Adhere to Right at Home policies and procedures
  • Enhance the integrity of Client's by respecting their personal values, beliefs, and customs, whilst protecting their rights and achieving positive outcomes

About You: 

A great Personal Care Worker combines heart, skill and professionalism, while working within Australian aged care standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Certificate 3 in Individual Support in Aged Care/Disability (or near completion of certificate)
  • Nursing Students, that have completed required modules as equivalent to Certificate 3 in Individual Support

Must have: 

  • Must have a minimum P2 or Full Australian License and comprehensive car insurance
  • Current Police Check (within 12 months from date of issue)
  • Current in date First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • 100 Points of Identification
