Salary: Starting at Hourly rate of $48.19 depending on experience.

Right at Home, Gympie Region are seeking experienced, qualified, reliable and passionate RN. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You can demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for our team will have some experience with managing client enquiries, client consultations, client onboarding, and a client case load. RN will have experience managing the scheduling requirements for community care workers.

Purpose of Position: This role is customer focused and involves consulting with families, preparing in home care assessments, and drafting care plans to best meet client requirements. This position is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing the performance of our carers and nurses.

Full training will be provided to reliable and successful candidate. 

Duties include:

  • Assisting with handling incoming telephone and internet enquiries.

  • Administer clients’ medicines and treatments & perform other duties of Registered Nurse. 

  • Meeting with clients and assessing their needs. This role will handle anything from information requests, feedback, general enquiries to complaints.

  • Preparing in-home care assessments and care plans to best meet client requirements.

  • Ensure all documentation is accurately and comprehensively completed in Right at Home databases and software programs in accordance with organisation policies and procedures and legislative frameworks.

  • Maintaining client compliance and documentation according to government standards.

  • Prepare client’s budget, provide copy of the individualised budget to client and review the budget when needed.

  • Serves as a liaison with accounts department, ensuring proper billing in line with the care plan that includes entering clients' expenses in CRM, accounting and financial software.

  • Providing “on-call” services on rotation after hours, on the weekends, and on public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • A current AHPRA Registration

  • Current Australian National Police check, and Current First Aid & CPR certificate

  • Driver's license and your own reliable registered vehicle

  • Full Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience as a scheduler, case manager, care coordinator, hospital discharge planner, or NDIS support coordinator

  • The ability to operate efficiently and deliver excellent service

  • Time management, organisational skills & ability to manage competing priorities

  • Relationship development skills to support diverse clients to achieve their goals and objectives

  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, and CMS)
