On the 17th of May each year, the world recognises Hypertension Day. Hypertension, otherwise known as high blood pressure, is an established risk factor for cardiovascular disease and an important determinant of cardiovascular risk.

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month. Sadly, the prevalence of Parkinson’s Disease is on the rise in Australia due to our ageing population.
