About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to support clients across the Sutherland Shire region in both Aged Care and Disability settings.

Schedule Expectations

  • Typical visits range from 2–6 hours
  • Mix of weekday shifts, with some weekend availability preferred
  • Morning and mid-morning availability highly regarded
  • Casual position
  • Must be living within the Sutherland Shire

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, mobility support)
  • Assist with medication prompting and administration (if endorsed)
  • Perform domestic assistance (light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
  • Offer social support and companionship
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping and community activities
  • Follow and contribute to individualised care plans
  • Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing

Must Haves

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Disability Services
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Authorised to work in Australia
  • Living within the Sutherland Shire area

Nice to Haves

  • Medication Endorsement
  • Experience in Community Aged Care and/or Disability Support
  • Dementia care experience
  • Availability for consistent weekday morning shifts
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
