Business Development Manager / Relationship Manager (Healthcare) Perth West Coast Territory (WA) – Field-Based Role

About the Role

This is a field-based, relationship and growth-focused role suited to someone who enjoys being out in the community, building networks and driving new business. You will be responsible for developing and managing referral pathways across the healthcare sector, including hospitals, allied health professionals, support coordinators and community organisations. This role requires a proactive approach, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting referrals into ongoing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow referral networks across the Perth West Coast region
  • Conduct regular face-to-face visits with referral sources (hospitals, allied health, community providers) 
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Convert enquiries and referrals into active clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing referral partners
  • Work closely with the internal clinical team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Accurately maintain records and activity in internal systems
  • Participation in a shared team on-call roster (approximately every 6–7 weeks, reducing as the team grows)

  • Strong, ongoing relationships with key referral partners
  • A well-managed and active pipeline of opportunities
  •  High level of engagement with both clients and internal teams 

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and relationship driven, with a strong ability to generate new business.

Successful Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, client engagement or customer service with a strong drive for growth and success
  • High-level organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with a wide variety of people and a passion for providing high quality customer service
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills combined with a strong ability to prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills
  • Current Drivers Licence & National Police Check
  • Knowledge of NDIS, Support at Home Packages and/or other community, healthcare funded programs would be seen as advantage

 

 

Preferred Skills

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience in aged care, NDIS, healthcare or community services
  • Background as an ACAT assessor, care coordinator or healthcare professional looking to transition into a relationship-based role
  •  Understanding of Home Care Packages, NDIS or Support at Home

Location Requirement

  • This is a field-based role primarily servicing the Perth West Coast region, with some coverage across northern suburbs as required.
  • Candidates must reside within the Perth metropolitan area and be available for regular local travel.
