About the Role

We are seeking experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals living in the Sutherland Shire who are confident in:

  • Personal Care
  • Hoisting and manual handling
  • Bowel care

Schedule Expectations

  • Typical visits range from 2–6 hours
  • Mix of weekday shifts, with some weekend availability preferred
  • Morning and mid-morning availability highly regarded
  • Multiple casual positions available
  • Must live within the Sutherland Shire

In This Role, You Will:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, mobility support)
  • Perform safe hoisting and manual handling
  • Assist with bowel care and continence management
  • Provide medication prompting/assistance
  • Support meal preparation and domestic tasks
  • Offer companionship and social support
  • Transport clients to appointments and community activities
  • Contribute to and follow individualised care plans
  • Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing

Must Haves

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Aged Care or Disability Services
  • Demonstrated experience in hoisting and bowel care
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable, insured vehicle
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police Check
  • Current (or willing to obtain) First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Smart mobile phone
  • Authorised to work in Australia
  • Living within the Sutherland Shire

  • Experience in community-based care
  • Dementia care experience
  • Availability for consistent weekday morning shifts
