About the Role

We are seeking experienced Support Workers / Personal Care Workers to deliver compassionate, respectful and high-quality care to clients across the Sutherland Shire.

Schedule Expectations

  • Typical visits range from 2–6 hours
  • Mix of weekday shifts, with some weekend availability preferred
  • Morning and mid-morning availability highly regarded
  • Casual position
  • Must be living locally within the Sutherland Shire

In This Role, You Will:

  • Assist clients with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, mobility support)
  • Support medication prompting/assistance
  • Provide domestic assistance (light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
  • Offer social support and companionship
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping and community outings
  • Follow and contribute to individualised care plans
  • Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing

Must Haves

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Aged Care, Disability Services or completed first year of a Nursing degree
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable, insured vehicle
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police Check
  • Current (or willing to obtain) First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Smart mobile phone
  • Authorised to work in Australia
  • Living locally within the Sutherland Shire areaNice to Haves

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in Dementia Care
  • Experience in Community Aged Care or Disability Support
  • Availability for morning and mid-morning weekday shifts
