Job Description:

Right at Home Brisbane North and South have exciting opportunities available for experienced Disability Support Workers within the Redcliffe and surrounding suburbs. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, respectful and can complete personal care and hygiene as well as domestic duties. Tasks such as personal hygiene, cleaning, meal preparation, shopping and attending appointments will be required within this role.

We have a number of clients throughout the North side of Brisbane who require care on a variety of rostered shifts, we will need candidates with at least 6 months experience post qualification in Disability Care.

The role will initially be offered on a casual basis, however, based on performance the opportunity for Permanent Part Time may become available.

Location:

Our Brisbane North office is located in Sandgate, however, our In-Home Care is provided across the North side of Brisbane in our beautiful clients homes where they feel most comfortable. **Please note that some of our clients do live in shared homes**

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Certificate III Disability, Aged or Individual Support
• 6+ Months experience in the industry
• Australian National Police Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Blue Card
• Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Smart phone
• Driver’s licence and your own vehicle
• Full Comprehensive Car Insurance

Candidates Will Be Familiar With: 

• Personal Care (Showering, bed-bath, oral hygiene, hair care, support with shaving etc)
• Domestic Care (Preparing and cooking meals, transporting to appointments, social outings or running errands)
• Companionship
