Physiotherapist (Full-time / Part-time)


Description

We are seeking a  Physiotherapists who is passionate about providing client-focused care in the community. This role is hands-on, meaningful, and rewarding — you’ll be supporting clients to improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance their independence in their own homes.

As a Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to care planning and reviews.
  • Provide rehabilitation, mobility training, and exercise programs to support client goals.
  • Work closely with clients, families, and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).\
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable lor or Master s vehicle (required for community visits).
  • National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience, with some related experience in community or aged care settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in physiotherapy assessments, and interventions for older adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a MDT team

Preferred Skills

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Support at Home, CHSP, and My Aged Care frameworks
  • Experience with mobility / falls assessments and Aged Care Funding documentation.
  • Understanding manual handling, dementia care, and falls prevention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and respectful approach to older clients
  • Proven ability to manage time, prioritise workload, and work autonomously in the community.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional ethics, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
