Female Personal Care Workers – Byron Bay Area

Are you passionate about helping people live independently in the comfort of their own homes. We are now looking for compassionate and reliable Female Personal Care Workers to join our friendly team. Whether you are experienced or just starting your career in Aged Care, this is your chance to make a difference supporting clients 65+ in their homes across Ballina and surrounding suburbs.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll support clients across the Byron Bay Area by delivering personalised, person-centred care. You’ll travel between client homes and assist with day-to-day tasks that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication prompts
  • Domestic assistance such as light cleaning, laundry and meal prep
  • Social support and transport to outings, shopping and appointments
  • Assisting with mobility and equipment (e.g., walking frames, wheelchairs, hoists/lifters, sliding sheets, hearing aids)
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing

What You Need

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support.
  • Current Australian Federal Police Check within last 12 months
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate within last 12 months
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Valid work rights in Australia
  • Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Be able to use a Smartphone with internet access
