We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue invoices for NDIS, private and brokerage clients
Prepare and manage quotes for NDIS, private, and brokerage clients
Maintain aged receivables for all clients and follow up outstanding balances
Manage NDIS and client documentation, including plans, agreements, and funding records
Perform monthly reconciliations (Visual Care vs Xero), balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end journals
Calculate and process worker travel and kilometre reimbursements, including complex travel claims
Provide guidance to workers on correct kilometre claiming and respond to related queries
Provide payroll cover and general finance support when required
Work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting

Qualifications

Requirements:

Previous experience in accounting field for at least 3 years
Competency in XERO software, Employment Hero and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Must have experience with NDIS, SCHADS Award, month end process
Knowledge of home care services industry is a plus
