Recruitment Coordinator

Description

We are seeking an organised and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality recruitment services.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, onboarding, and compliance management. You will work closely with managers to understand workforce needs and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in recruitment, administration, or workforce coordination is highly desirable.

 

Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm 

Remuneration: $70,000 – $75,000 per annum under the SCHADS Award, in line with skills, knowledge, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of new employees

  • Screen applications and conduct initial candidate interviews

  • Manage recruitment advertisements and candidate pipelines

  • Ensure all pre-employment compliance documentation is completed

  • Liaise with managers to support workforce planning and staffing needs

  • Maintain accurate records within recruitment and HR systems

 

About You

You are an organised and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within the community or aged care sector. With at least 1–2 years of recruitment experience, you have a strong understanding of compliance-based hiring processes and are familiar with the SCHADS Award, National Employment Standards, and Fair Work obligations.

You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and are confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised and solutions-focused, you are comfortable working with HRIS, recruitment, and rostering systems while maintaining strict attention to compliance requirements.

You handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion and bring strong administrative capability, time management, and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.

 

Mandatory or Ability to Obtain

  • Criminal History Check Clearance

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Current First Aid & CPR

Desirable

  • Experience recruiting frontline support workers

  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
