We are looking for reliable, experienced personal Care workers and Enrolled Nurses with early morning availability (7am) to join the growing team at Right at Home South West WA. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Applicants must hold a relevant qualification in this field and reside in the South West.

This position covers the Bunbury and Busselton areas within the South West region.

Candidates must hold either a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or a Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled) qualification.

Australian work authorisation is required at time of application.

A minimum of 6 months' experience in aged care or personal care is required for this position.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.

• Compliance: Current police clearances and working with vulnerable people checks are required.

• Background Checks: Police clearances and working with vulnerable people checks must be no older than 12 months.

• Mobility Support: Helping clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and positioning.

• Medication Assistance: Prompting prescribed medication administration and monitoring health conditions as directed.

• Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversation, and participating in activities to enhance the client's quality of life. Transport and shopping assistance.

• Household Tasks: Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.

• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.
