As our Allied Health services continue to grow, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in the community, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of innovative services that support older adults and people living with disability.

We currently have flexible opportunities available, including part-time, casual and school-hour arrangements for the right candidate.

About the Role

You will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to clients living in their own homes and communities, supporting them to maintain independence, safety and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Functional and environmental assessments
• Equipment prescription and recommendations
• Home modification assessments
• Falls prevention and risk assessments
• Goal setting and intervention planning
• Clinical documentation, reporting and care planning
• Collaboration with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Developing and facilitating individual and group-based wellness, independence and activity programs for older adults and people living with disability
• Identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement through education sessions, community activities and therapeutic group programs
• Contributing ideas and initiatives that support client outcomes, community engagement and the growth of Allied Health services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification
  • National Police Clearance
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout our service area (Two Rocks to Mosman Park)
  • Current Australian working rights

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in community aged care, disability, rehabilitation or home care settings.
  • Knowledge of Community Aged Care, Home Care Packages (HCP), Support at Home and/or NDIS funding models.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with clients, families and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to client care and service delivery.
  • Confidence identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and promote independence.
  • Interest in contributing to the growth and development of Allied Health services and community-based programs.
  • Experience facilitating group programs, education sessions, falls prevention initiatives or community-based wellness activities (desirable).
  • Passion for creating meaningful opportunities that enhance wellbeing, social connection and quality of life.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
