Male Personal Care Workers – Northern Rivers

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll support clients across the Northern Rivers by delivering personalised, person-centred care. You’ll travel between client homes and assist with day-to-day tasks that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication prompts
• Domestic assistance such as light cleaning, laundry and meal prep
• Social support and transport to outings, shopping and appointments
• Assisting with mobility and equipment (e.g., walking frames, wheelchairs, hoists/lifters, sliding sheets, hearing aids)
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing
• Attending team meetings and participating in ongoing training

What You Need

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support.
• Current Australian Federal Police Check - last 12 months
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate - last 12 months
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Valid work rights in Australia
• Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Smartphone with internet access
