About the Role

Right at Home Gold Coast North is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced NDIS Support Workers to join our growing team. This role involves supporting participants with daily living activities, community access, social support, and promoting independence within the home and community.

To meet the needs of our participants, applicants must be available to work across at least 5 days per week during our peak service hours between 6:00am and 8:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support participants with daily living activities and community access
  • Assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation, and transport to appointments
  • Encourage independence, social engagement, and goal achievement
  • Follow individual support plans and participant routines
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the care team
  • Adhere to organisational policies, NDIS standards, and WHS requirements

Selection Criteria

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field (preferred)
  • Previous disability support experience desirable
  • Availability across 5 days per week between 6:00am – 8:00pm
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance 
  • Current Driver’s Licence and comprehensively insured reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
