About the Client

  • Adult male living at home
  • Diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease
  • Requires 24 hour care
  • PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) feeding in place
  • Values dignity, respect, and consistency in care

Key Responsibilities

  • Full assistance with personal care (showering, grooming, toileting)
  • Manual handling and mobility support
  • PEG feeding and monitoring (experience essential)
  • Medication assistance (as directed by care plan)
  • Meal preparation and light domestic duties
  • Community access and transport to appointments
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes promptly
  • Providing respectful, client-centred support at all times

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support
  • Demonstrated experience supporting clients with MND or complex neurological conditions
  • PEG feeding experience (essential)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Own reliable vehicle (mandatory)
  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks
  • Available for regular weekly shifts (minimum 3 days per week)
  • Strong reliability and punctuality
