About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a part‑time basis. This role involves delivering in‑home occupational therapy services to older Australians and people living with disabilities across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs.

You’ll support clients to maintain independence, safety, and quality of life through practical, functional, and person‑centred interventions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in‑home functional and safety assessments
  • Develop and implement individualised OT and reablement programs
  • Assess and recommend assistive equipment and home modifications
  • Support clients with ADLs, mobility, and falls prevention strategies
  • Provide education on energy conservation and safe task performance
  • Complete risk assessments to enhance home safety
  • Collaborate with Care Managers, Nurses, and Support Workers
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

 

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in community, aged care, disability, or rehabilitation settings
  • Knowledge of home safety assessments and assistive technology
  • Current Driver’s Licence, Police Clearance, and reliable vehicle
