Are you a resident of the Moreton Bay region, particularly around Kallangur, Caboolture and the surrounding areas?

Do you hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification?

This could be your step in the door to working with Right at Home in the Moreton Bay Region. This is a casual position that will initially cover for some our valued carers taking a break and filling in for visits that arise, sometimes on a daily basis. We envision this will turn into ongoing shifts as we carefully match our carers and clients.

We’re looking for compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Personal Carers to join our growing team! You’ll be caring for our clients in their own homes around Kallangur to Caboolture and the surrounding areas, so you’ll need a driver’s license and reliable car with comprehensive insurance.

Duties will include (but not limited to)

• Providing personal care - showering, grooming & dressing
• Domestic assistance - vacuuming, mopping, laundry, cleaning bathrooms, light gardening, changing beds
• Meal preparation
• Transport clients to appointments, shopping or other social activities
• Medication prompts
• Develop a plan along with the client to improve their lives and follow it daily
• Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
• Responding to emergency situations

We understand the challenges with today’s cost of living and offer a competitive pay rate of $38.53 (weekday rate) plus 11.5% superannuation. We also pay a KM allowance for client transportation assistance during shift.

What you need or be willing to obtain

• Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent - Required
• Working Rights in Australia
• Australian Criminal History Check
• NDIS Workers Screening Card (paid)
• Blue Card (paid)
• Drivers licence & reliable car with comprehensive insurance
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Double Covid Vaccination
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
