Right at Home Melbourne North team are experts in providing home care services to its community members who require elderly or dementia care, in-home nursing care, post-operative and transitional care, disability or respite care, and palliative care. we provide high quality care for clients across HCP, HACCPYP and TCP.

We have an excellent opportunity to join the Workforce as a Rostering Officer. This team provides roster management for 40 staff and over 150 clients across our Community Home Care services.

If you have demonstrated experience in a rostering position, outstanding customer service skills and a high level of administrative experience, this role is for you.

In this role you will

Manage the rostering function on Visual Care

Triage incoming phone calls Responding high volume of rostering enquiries from staff and clients

Coordinate, negotiate and schedule daily staffing allocations to ensure all shifts are filled

Oversee the master roster and process shift variations, permanent shift changes and generate/publish new rosters fortnightly

Assist with the scheduling, coordination, and rostering of mandatory staff training

Maintain and update the casual employee roster

Contribute to the preparation and implementation of rostering procedures

Provide high level administrative support on a variety of other staffing and rostering related tasks as required

 

What do you need to apply?

Experience in Healthcare Certificate 111 individual support (Desirable)

Significant experience in a similar role, rostering for Aged Care, Home Care or NDIS.

High level analytical, and problem solving skills and ability to work at a fast pace is essential

Experience in administrative office systems, procedures and equipment

High level computer skills using Visual care (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience rostering staff in a small business.
