At Right at Home Melbourne North, we are a small but rapidly growing team delivering high-quality care across aged care, disability, transitional care, and post-hospital support services. About the Role

As a Mobile Physiotherapist, you will provide person-centred physiotherapy assessments and interventions to support clients in improving mobility, independence, strength, and overall quality of life within the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Functional mobility and physical assessments
  • Falls prevention and balance programs
  • Strength and mobility rehabilitation programs
  • Pain management and movement therapy
  • Exercise prescription and wellness programs
  • Manual handling and mobility recommendations
  • Supporting clients following hospital discharge or injury
  • Developing treatment plans and therapy goals
  • Supporting clients under Home Care Packages, Support at Home, NDIS, and transitional care programs
  • Liaising with families, care coordinators, nurses, and other allied health professionals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Copy of relevant qualification/certification or degree
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance with minimum cover of $5 million
  • Full Australian working rights

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within community aged care, NDIS, rehabilitation, or transitional care settings
  • Knowledge of Home Care Packages, Support at Home, and NDIS funding models
  • Experience developing mobility, strength, and falls prevention programs
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
  • Experience using electronic care management systems (preferred)
  • Multilingual skills highly regarded
  • Passion for person-centred and holistic care
