This last week we have all witnessed incredible scenes of devastation due to flood waters caused by an extreme rain event over Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Areas affected include Maryborough, Gympie, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Northern Rivers (Byron Bay, Lismore, and Ballina) and now the rain is heading to Central NSW Coast and further south to Sydney. We all feel helpless and want to offer our support.

Right at Home have expanded their partnership with Bowls Australia, assuming the naming rights of the Australian Jackaroos and associated feeder squads.

This week started off with Blood Donor Day on the 14th of June. Inaugurated in 2005, World Blood Donor Day serves as a special day to thank blood donors for their efforts every year.

Coming up this week is the Leukemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave from the 10th to the 14th of March to raise money to find a cure for blood cancer. Right at Home challenges you to join the superheroes.

Sydney Mardi Gras 2021 is here, and we couldn’t be more delighted! After a year of uncertainty and isolation, what better way to unburden ourselves and simply enjoy the freedom and social fun and warmth espoused by Mardi Gras.
