We are seeking a compassionate Allied Health Assistant to provide in-home assistance for clients. This role is perfect for a physio aid/allied health assistant who enjoys working one-on-one with clients, helping improve their mobility, pain management, and overall well-being in the comfort of their homes. The role will aid and support the work of the physiotherapy team and works under the supervision and instructions of the physiotherapist, registered nurse, or care partner.

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand and follow treatment plans as prepared by the physiotherapist 
• Assist in managing pain, mobility issues, and stress relief
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment plans
• Travel to clients' homes within Southside Canberra
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure holistic client care

Requirements:

• Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Police Check & Working with Vulnerable People (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable transport and ability to travel to client homes
• Comprehensive car insurance

 Experience working with seniors or disability clients is an advantage
