Right at Home Greater Logan assists clients who require care services whilst living independently at home. We are passionate about delivering care for our clients and are proud of our team-focused, professional culture. With our small, close-knit team, we are looking to expand our numbers to continue providing quality care and spread our name throughout the community.

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who are located in the Brookwater, Forest Lake, Marsden and Eagleby areas for several of our clients. We are looking for experienced carers who love growing long-term relationships, with a high-quality service, based in the community. Tasks involved in this position will be Personal Cares, Social Support, Domestic Assistance, Transport and many more. Previous aged and disability experience will be highly regarded.

Current Shift Vacancies:

• Eagleby - Spinal Injury, Behaviors of Concern. Sleepover shifts available (combination of active and inactive).
• Brookwater - Hoisting, PEG feeding, two-person assist, companionship. Monday to Saturday shift available (7hrs in length).
• Marsden - Hoisting (two-person assist), assisted feeding, domestic assistance, transport. Shift available are Monday-Sunday, however evening and weekends are required the most. Shifts are 2-3 hours in length.
• Many other shorter services throughout Logan City and South Brisbane (2hrs-7hrs in length).

Essential:

• Australian National Police Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Drivers license and your own vehicle
• Be willing to travel within the whole of Logan City (approximately 30 minute radius)
• Successful candidates must be willing to work a combination of short and longer shifts.

Preferred:

• Certificate III/IV in Aged, Disability or Individual Support (for position including Personal Care tasks).
• Weekend availability.
• Open to Sleepover Shifts will be highly regarded.
• Experience with hoisting and Manual Handling (Ideal)
• Available to work weekends & overnight shifts (Ideal)
• Experience with complex behaviours and high care clients (ideal)
