Right at Home Central Qld are currently recruiting for a accountant/bookkeeper to join our team. This role is a permanent part time position reporting to the Manging Director of Right at Home Central Qld.

The Role:

The accountant/bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting and administrative services in order to meet financial reporting standards and legislative requirements.

Your key duties will be:

  • Maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems to ensure complete and accurate records of all monies
  • Administer employee files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowances
  • Administer bi-weekly payroll in order to ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner

Qualifications

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

  • Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping or Accounting)
  • Atleast 2-3 years appropriate experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Payroll processes
  • System use with XERO or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in staff leadership and management;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people at all levels, both internal and external;
