About the Role

As a Mobile Occupational Therapist, you will provide person-centred assessments and interventions to support clients in maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life within the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Functional and home safety assessments
  • Falls prevention and mobility recommendations
  • Manual handling assessments
  • Assistive technology and equipment prescription
  • Cognitive and capacity assessments
  • Minor home modification recommendations
  • Developing therapy plans and goals
  • Supporting clients under Home Care Packages, Support at Home, NDIS, and transitional care programs
  • Liaising with families, care coordinators, nurses, and other allied health professionals

Qualifications

  • Copy of relevant qualification/certification or degree
  • Current AHPRA registration (where applicable)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance with minimum cover of $5 million
  • Full Australian working rights

Preferred Skills
