We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers who are passionate about delivering client-centred care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and goals.

About the role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide personalised support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, comfort and wellbeing.

You will take the time to understand each client's preferences, respect their choices and deliver care that reflects their individual support plan.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients with personal care, including showering, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

• Supporting mobility, transfers and safe movement in accordance with the client's care plan and your training.

• Assisting with meal preparation, eating and drinking where required.

• Providing companionship and emotional support while promoting social connection.

• Supporting clients to maintain their independence, dignity and personal choices.

• Following individual care plans and reporting changes in a client's health, wellbeing or circumstances.

• Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with the care management team.

• Adhering to infection control, workplace health and safety, privacy and safeguarding requirements.

• Working collaboratively with clients, families and the wider care team to support positive outcomes.

About you

We are looking for individuals who are respectful, dependable and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

To be successful, you will have:

• A genuine passion for supporting older people and individuals requiring care at home.

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or equivalent), or a recognised equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience delivering personal care in aged care, disability support or community care.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to follow care plans while respecting each client's individual preferences and choices.

• A reliable, professional and compassionate approach to your work.

• The ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the wider care team.

• A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
