We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Domestic Support Workers who take pride in maintaining clean, safe and comfortable home environments for our clients.

About the role

As a Domestic Support Worker, you will provide practical household assistance to older clients, helping them maintain a clean, organised and comfortable living environment.

Your focus will be on domestic duties that support clients to remain independent in their own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

• General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces.

• Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and other household areas.

• Laundry, ironing and changing bed linen.

• Washing dishes and maintaining clean and tidy kitchen areas.

• Light meal preparation and basic kitchen assistance.

• General household tidying and organisation.

• Grocery shopping and essential errands where included in the client's approved service plan.

• Following client-specific instructions and respecting individual preferences regarding their home.

• Reporting any household safety concerns or changes in the client's circumstances to the appropriate office team.

Important: This role focuses on domestic assistance within the home. It does not include personal care, showering, toileting, medication administration or manual handling duties.

About you

We are looking for practical, reliable and respectful individuals who understand the importance of maintaining a clean and comfortable home for older Australians.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in domestic cleaning, housekeeping or household support (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.

• Good time management and the ability to work independently.

• A respectful and professional approach when working in clients' homes.

• The ability to follow instructions and complete tasks within allocated service times.

• A genuine commitment to client dignity, privacy and independence.

• A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.

• The required employment screening and compliance documentation..
