Understandably, much of our attention has been taken up by the pandemic, with COVID-19 affecting us all both directly and indirectly. But other fatal diseases are still here, and one of those is breast cancer.

June 15 was World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and we at Right at Home take this very seriously.

This week started off with Blood Donor Day on the 14th of June. Inaugurated in 2005, World Blood Donor Day serves as a special day to thank blood donors for their efforts every year.

June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and once again we acknowledge and raise awareness about Australia’s second deadliest cancer.
