Complex Care Disability Support Worker

About the Role

Right at Home Gold Coast North is seeking caring and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. This role is available on a casual basis, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. You will provide person-centred support to help participants live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties

  • Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing in line with individual care plans
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and allied health professionals

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

  • Follow all organisational policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or a related qualification

  • Previous experience supporting people with disabilities and/or complex needs

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships

  • A patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach to care

  • A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
