Harmony Day is a government-declared observance day that began in 1999 to coincide with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Harmony Week only bolsters this important day and serves to celebrate Australia's diversity. 

To participate, wear orange next week and encourage your community, whether that be a workplace, school, sport club, council, or government, to celebrate that everyone belongs.
