On October 25, Right at Home offices around Australia together with our fellow Australians celebrated National Grandparents Day 2020. 

Held annually on the last Sunday of October, National Grandparents Day is one of the most important family days in our calendar. 

The aim of National Grandparents Day is to honour grandparents and provide an opportunity to show love for their grandchildren. It helps children become aware of the strength, information and guidance that older people can offer. 

While many of us weren't able to hug our grandparents this year due to COVID-19, be sure to connect regardless in any way that you can. And for those of us whose relatives live overseas, Grandparents Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of October in the UK and on the first Sunday after Labor Day in the US.
