Join us this week, at the 2021 New South Wales Seniors Festival Expo on Wednesday April 21 from 9am to 5pm and Thursday April 22 from 9am to 3:30pm.

Held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, NSW Seniors Festival Expo is a two-day event, showcasing 40 exhibitors providing seniors with an opportunity to access information all under one roof. There will be live concerts to enjoy and travel information and food to inspire you. 

Right at Home will be located at stand 23 just off to the right of the entrance. The aim is to overcome the demographic digital divide, counter loneliness and encourage seniors to get outside and active.

The garden area, also nearby to the Right at Home stand, will feature ad hoc information sessions about a wide range of native plants ranging from:

• Temperate climate garden species for pollinators
• Cool climate garden species
• Warm/humid climate garden species
• Hot/arid climate garden species
• There will also be info sessions on:
• Tips for attracting bees and other pollinators to your garden
• Help create bed & breakfasts for birds, bees & biodiversity

Each of the info sessions will have unique QR codes displayed for seniors to scan and find out more.

Another very interesting attraction near to the Right at Home stand, is the Vegepod display of self-watering, raised garden bed kits . Learn how to raise an easy-to-manage garden at  your home. If you can't get to the expo in person, you can get the experience online here.
