Technology training is available right across the country to provide opportunities for older Australians to develop their digital skills, socialise, and access important services. Right at Home, Australia's premium homecare provider wishes to let you know how to access this training.

The Tech Savvy Seniors Program is one such initiative and operates across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia. The Telstra-lead program provides older Australians with the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence they need to use technology.

The Program aims to help seniors connect and participate in the online world, with the objective of increasing digital inclusion, helping reduce social isolation, increasing access to government information and services via the internet, and improving awareness and resilience to online fraud and financial abuse. It includes face-to-face training, how-to guides, and training materials in over 14 languages.

Be Connected is another, Australia-wide initiative empowering all Australians to thrive in a digital world. With online learning resources as well as a network of community partners, Be Connected offers all kinds of digital support.

If you are aged 50 and over, you can access free presentations on how to develop your digital skills. All presentations are free, live streamed, and delivered in an easy-to-understand format by knowledgeable and friendly presenters.
