Clinical Care Manager

Your responsibility will be to manage and oversee the Clinical Governance of our client base. This rewarding and simultaneously challenging role seeks an individual of high calibre experience who has broad knowledge of NDIS/NDIA, Home Care Package and My Aged Care. 

Your Client assessment skills, ethical manner, and eye for detail when it comes to Clinical Patient Care will have to be of the highest standard to proactively lead as CC Manager.

This is also an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated, enthusiastic Team of experienced professionals who will assist and provide support in daily management of our Client base and respective Care workers. You will be based in our independently run boutique office located in the Bundall Business District on the Gold Coast.

 

Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

• In accordance with Accreditation and Quality Framework, develop and monitor appropriate quality controls, prevent risks, and continue to maintain safe practices across the board.
• Maintaining and leading an excellent standard of care delivery of services to our client base.
• Managing the Clinical Governance.
• Managing and overseeing all Clinical Services.
• Liaising with third party Stakeholders, Allied Health professionals, respective GP’s and Hospital Personnel.
• Ensuring that the client home is accredited and compliant at all times.
• Completing and overseeing client clinical assessments and necessary client compliance as required and in due manner.
• Coordinating internal and external auditing processes.
• Report back to the Directors in a timely manner and proactively manage own workload.
• Managing clinical RN/EN staff.
• Provide training and coaching to both office and field staff as required.
• Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees.

Skills and requirements to excel in this role:

• Tertiary qualification bachelor’s degree in Nursing with current AHPRA Registration & Indemnity Insurance.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Care Manager within the Community sector, and or Residential Setting with 5 years of practice as a minimum requirement.
• Proven Client management portfolio with complete knowledge of NDIS/NDIA framework, Home Care Packages and My Aged Care. 
• Have strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced technical and administrative aptitude.
• Be someone who is effectively able to multitask, prioritise, delegate and time manage accordingly.
• Have the ability to quickly adapt, and effectively manage challenges professionally as needs arise.
• Excellent communicator and effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Be an enthusiastic highly self-motivated individual with sincere level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
