Are you a compassionate, reliable, and professional support worker looking to have a real impact? We’re currently seeking Female Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred 24/7 care in a participant’s home in Tweed Heads, NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team in delivering meaningful care that enhances independence, safety, and quality of life.

About the Roster

We are seeking a 24/7 care team to support an individual participant. Shifts will rotate across weekdays, weekends, and passive overnight stays.

Shift Structure:

  • Morning: 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Afternoon: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Evening + Passive Sleepover: 6:00 PM – Sleepover - 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs

  • Supporting mobility and safe transfers using Sara Stedy

  • Providing medication prompts and monitoring

  • Meal preparation and support with nutrition

  • Light domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry)

  • Encouraging social engagement and community access

  • Documenting progress and reporting health changes

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

  • Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support (or equivalent)

  • Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011 or HLTAID003)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • NDIS Orientation Module Certificate

  • National Police Check

  • Minimum 12 months of disability support experience (paid or lived)

  • Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle (preferred)

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Female applicants only, due to the personal care requirements of the client
