Role Overview:
As a Personal Care Worker / NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing compassionate and high-quality in-home support. You will assist individuals with a variety of personal and lifestyle needs, enabling them to maintain independence and dignity in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
Support clients with domestic duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
Assist with medication prompts and health monitoring as directed
Offer companionship and emotional support
Provide transport to appointments, community activities, or shopping
Support clients in achieving NDIS goals, such as building daily living skills and participating in social activities
Accurately document care activities and report changes in client condition
Follow care plans and work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and coordinators
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in aged care, disability, or community support (preferred)
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent (or working towards)
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
