Right at Home Kalgoorlie Wheatbelt provides high quality in-home care and assistance to our valued clients in Kalgoorlie and wheatbelt. We support people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. “Our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

We are seeking to recruit dedicated individuals who strives for best practice, are able to communicate well with people of all backgrounds and approach every situation with care and compassion. Qualifications

Nurse will be responsible for:

Building strong connections with clients and their families
Assigning staff to clients based on staff qualifications and availability, as well as client preferences
Organise support to clients with disabilities and monitoring and reporting on their progress
Referring clients to agencies that can provide additional help
Assessing client needs and resources for health, welfare and other facilities and services
Responding promptly to emails, enquiries and requests from clients, staff and management
Maintaining accurate records of incidents and feedback as required
Re-organising work priorities to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment
Supporting all clients to meet their goals
Conducting Client Care Assessments and Care Planning
Supervision and management of Care Staff
Discussing and promoting Right at Homes services with medical professions and referral sources
Reporting to head office
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

At least 1 years’ experience as and Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Assistant in Nursing or 5 years + industry experience

Experienced in assessing and planning care needs
Sound understanding of the Aged Care and Disability systems
A strong client focus which is based on their goals, preferences and needs
Demonstrated experience managing staff
Current National Police Check
Working with Children Check
Full Drivers Licence
All candidates must have the right to work in Australia
Organisational, administrative and time management skills
