Senior Care Worker – Gold Coast

About the Role
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to support clients across the Gold Coast region – from Northern Gold Coast (up to Ormeau), Central, and Southern Gold Coast (Tweed Heads to Currumbin Valley).

Your role will focus on providing personalised, high-quality care in the comfort of clients’ homes. Services may include:

• Personal Care

• Companion Care

• Domestic Assistance

• In-Home Respite

• Transportation

• Meal Preparation

• Dementia Care

• Social Support, including shopping assistance and outings

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:

• Have a genuine interest in and respect for our senior community and their diverse backgrounds

• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a kind, caring nature

• Possess excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

• Are self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering client-focused care

• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to safe work practices

• Bring a warm, friendly, and honest approach to every interaction

What You Will Need

• Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Social Support, or equivalent experience in residential/community care

• Additional languages are a plus: Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Serbian, Hungarian, or Chinese

• Current driver’s license and reliable, fully insured vehicle

• National Police Clearance Certificate 

• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
