About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Scheduling Officer to join our close-knit office team. You’ll be responsible for coordinating client care services through accurate and timely rostering of our support workers.
This role is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, with on-call duties once every 4 weeks. It offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in healthcare administration while working in a values-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily and weekly care rosters to match clients with suitable support workers
Manage changes such as cancellations, urgent shift requests, and staff availability
Maintain accurate records and compliance with relevant award conditions
Liaise with clients, families, care workers, and managers to ensure seamless service delivery
Respond to client enquiries and feedback with empathy and professionalism
Assist with onboarding new clients and care staff rosters
Generate reports and support admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly
Promote Right at Home’s values through every interaction
About You
You’re a confident communicator, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. You’ll also bring:
Prior rostering/scheduling experience (aged care or disability services highly regarded)
Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Empathy, patience, and a client-first mindset
A proactive, problem-solving approach to daily challenges
Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Requirements
Australian National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Full working rights in Australia
NDIS Workers Screen card (or willingness to obtain)
Sound understanding of aged care or disability support (preferred)
Familiarity with rostering software (e.g., Visual Care) is an advantage
