About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Scheduling Officer to join our close-knit office team. You’ll be responsible for coordinating client care services through accurate and timely rostering of our support workers.

This role is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, with on-call duties once every 4 weeks. It offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in healthcare administration while working in a values-led organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily and weekly care rosters to match clients with suitable support workers

  • Manage changes such as cancellations, urgent shift requests, and staff availability

  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with relevant award conditions

  • Liaise with clients, families, care workers, and managers to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Respond to client enquiries and feedback with empathy and professionalism

  • Assist with onboarding new clients and care staff rosters

  • Generate reports and support admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly

  • Promote Right at Home’s values through every interaction

 

About You

You’re a confident communicator, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. You’ll also bring:

  • Prior rostering/scheduling experience (aged care or disability services highly regarded)

  • Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Empathy, patience, and a client-first mindset

  • A proactive, problem-solving approach to daily challenges

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment

 

Requirements

  • Australian National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • NDIS Workers Screen card (or willingness to obtain)

  • Sound understanding of aged care or disability support (preferred)

  • Familiarity with rostering software (e.g., Visual Care) is an advantage
