Right at Home Sydney Sutherland Shire is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable Casual Registered Nurses to manage and administer the delivery of nursing care to our clients. Our office offers skilled nursing services to clients in the Sutherland Shire area.

Right at Home provides home care services to people over the age of 65 and those living with a disability who require assistance in their home. We provide services under a range of funding sources including private pay clients, My Aged Care and NDIS.

We are particularly seeking individuals with nursing skills with Diabetes Management, Medication Administration, Manual Handling/ Hoist Management, wound and continence care.

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • A passion for high quality client-focused care in a community setting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously or within a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Availability to work 6 hr/day shifts ranging from Mon-Sun (job share opportunity)

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree of Nursing
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current Australian National Police check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • WWCC
  • A smart mobile phone (iphone / android)
  • Driver's licence with a registered & comprehensively insured vehicle

You are often commended on your problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills and take pride in your highly developed interpersonal skills. You can effectively communicate at all levels enabling you to achieve best nursing practices in accordance with legislation, common law, and quality improvement.

Ideally you will have:

  • A passion for community care and the ability to work effectively with people from differing cultural backgrounds.
  • Ideally 2 – 3 years’ experience working within the community care sector.
  • Responsible delivery of medication
  • Proficiency and confidence in using technology daily.
