The Role
We are seeking compassionate and motivated Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our Gold Coast team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about community care and helping clients live independently, with a focus on providing high-quality support to older adults. 

We offer flexible and varied shifts. Shift patterns may vary to meet client and operational needs, and flexibility is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompting

• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families

• Accurately document care provided and communicate updates to the care partner team via your app

• Adhere to infection control and occupational health and safety procedures

• Monitor clients for changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour and report appropriately

• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate

• Manual Handling certificate, and Medication Assistance competency (highly regarded)

• Experience in healthcare or community support preferred

• Compassionate, patient, and caring approach

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle (this is a community-based role with travel between clients’ homes)
